samhussey 0 #3 December 7, 2003 go to the skydive u website and take a look. They do an annual "search" event for FS, gives a boost for newbies or a great refresh to people whove been out of it for a while. This year is the first time they're doing a freefly event with a similar format. It would be cool to go on one, but I just cant afford it right now..... Airborne03 0 #6 December 8, 2003 ok call me crazy but this is pretty expensive isnt it? The total costs for everything is $2395 you get, 20 skydives (1 on 1 coaching), 40 minutes in the wind tunnel in orlando, a meeting with sports psychologist, Dr John DeRosali, prizes, demos and meetings with people in the sport. If i went to deland, to get coaching its about 69 bucks a jump...ill round it to 70. 70$ for 20 jumps = 1400 40 minutes in the wind tunnel is 10 bucks a minute at 400 bucks. I am only comming out here with $1800? "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

Jib 0 #8 December 8, 2003 I thought you couldn't freefly in the tunnel until you proved you could flatfly, walk and back fly first? & then, start sitting only. -------------------------------------------------- the depth of his depravity sickens me. -- Jerry Falwell, People v. NeedToJump 0 #9 December 9, 2003 Yes but if you show them that you can do all that in the first 2 minutes you are in there then they'll let you sit. Basically they just want to make sure that you'll be safe. If you get unstable in the sit you can recover to either your back or your belly so they want to make sure that you can fly in those two orientations.Wind Tunnel and Skydiving Coach http://www.ariperelman.com
