FF1...Yeah !

Two milestones achieved today.
No. 1....getting a coached sitfly jump with Chris Lynch at Headcorn...top man whose reputation precedes him.
In a nutshell...I learned LOADS.

No.2.....Passing my FF1 dive....wooohoo !!!

Its the BPA basic Freefly qualification we have to do in order to do anything other than solo FF's (or coached jumps)
Stable sit exit, fast fall,slow fall, 360's left and right, forward movement, backwards movment and a dock.

Cool, he made you do a dock. I only had to do a weed whacker instead. A dock would make more sense as it demonstrates the ability to make hand movements without disturbing your position.

Another variation I've heard of is requiring overstated alti checks where you bring your alti right in front of your face to see it - achieving much the same thing.

Yeah...it wasnt particularly pretty....but it was on heading and stable...
I hit another coach jump with Rob Silva...again...learned alot ......anybodies in doubt out there...quality coaching pays.. bigtime .
