Skydive2 1 #1 August 15, 2003 Hi, were currently switching our student rigs from ripcord to boc pilot chute. I've seen a various DZ's, kind of a wide belt, with a spandex pouch sewed on the back. This is used when training students, to simulate about where the pilot chute will be located. I was wondering if any one knew where to purchase these? I'd image there pretty easy to make, but it would be nice to have something to go on. Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thanks Lance
betzilla 56 #2 August 15, 2003 Students here just put on a rig and throw the PC, to practice throwing the PC. Can't get much simpkler than that -- just make sure enough bridle is pulled out that the pin won't get pulled (unless tyou don't mind reclosing rigs). mr2mk1g 10 #4 August 15, 2003 just make a pillow with a toggle on the end like used in RAPS dummy pull training. Simply stuff that inside an ordinary rig and practice with that.

rigging65 0 #6 August 15, 2003 Simply find an aftermarket BOC pouch and tack it onto a web belt. Pretty easy. masher 1 #7 August 16, 2003 We use a PC that isn't attached to anything, you can pull and throw it as much as you want.-- Arching is overrated - Marlies
