manifestRyan 0 #1 April 5, 2005 One of the moves in the FF intermediate pool for speed is a tracking grip. How in the hell do you pull that one off in a speed round? I've heard that the judges consider a flock angle a track. Is this true? Does anyone know who I can contact in regards to this? Very confused, Ryan
cheneyneel 0 #2 April 6, 2005 think about a little.. you can do everything in a track that you can basically do on your head... you can take grips in front of you just like on your head or feet.. remember to track and take grips doesnt mean that you have to be laid out as fast as you can go as we normally do on track dives..... just apply basic relativity/gravity rules and you can do multi point and multi directional jumps.. it requires flying your ass off, hence being the in nationals routine.. and yes I fo believe that angled flight counts as a track position.. 78RATS 0 #3 April 6, 2005 There was some discussion with the judges about this at last years Nationals. My memory is that it is considered a belly move. There must be forward movement when the dock is taken and the arms should be "swept back". Not hard, but I agree with you that it is not conducive to "speed". But really, you are racing "them", not the clock. Have fun. Stay sick. Rat for Life - Fly till I die When them stupid ass bitches ask why
