Stevehend15 0 #1 June 11, 2006 I am interested in doing some casual crew. I am jumping a Tri 175 without the crew mods. How do I go about getting involved in this? Is there plenty of crew jumpers in central FL? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TVPB 0 #2 June 12, 2006 Try Lake Wales - Florida. Or contact the USPA. There should be plenty of PD Lightnings around there too. Better to jump compatable CRW specific gear. Good Luck. http://ozcrw.tripod.com Stay Safe - Have Fun - Good Luck The above could be crap, thought provoking, useful, or . . But not personal. You decide. Stevehend15 0 #4 June 12, 2006 Is it required to have a crew canopy? I can barely afford jump tickets let alone another canopy. I know that there is a couple of guys in Titusville that do crew but they have been in a few world records and I dont know how they would take a newbie wanting to jump with them. boinky 0 #5 June 12, 2006 Seasoned CRWdogs LOVE to take on newbies! Just get on the CRWdog e-mail list, post when you might be able to show up and see if you can get some volunteers to break you in. Some of them MIGHT even have a Lightning you could borrow for the day! Good luck!Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? meandean 0 #7 June 13, 2006 Is it required to have a crew canopy? ------------------------------------------- It is not required, but it is favorable to have canopies that are compatible with each other, and CRW specific.
