AAD 4 Year check...how long does it take

Had my DZ ship it in for batteries and the 4yr check - how long does this normally take?

I want to jump my new rig and WANT to jump it with the AAD in it.

It only takes a couple of weeks if it passes. Mine failed and took a little over 6 weeks to get back.

It's about 2 weeks plus shipping time if it passes.

That could amount to 3 weekends w/out a cypres...

I was hoping to get it back before I head over to SD-AZ. Doesn't look too hopeful as I turned it in last Friday (and leaving next friday).

So - since I'll have my A license by then, should I jump without it???

I sent mine in on August 27th and they said it should have shipped out on September 10th.

Cypres does have AADs for rent while you are getting your 4 year check done. Call them for more info.

Mine took 6 months. It was an event cascade of note involving errors from me, my dealer and Airtec. When I got it back - it never worked for 2 years - until I changed the battery for one that worked. I never sent it for its 8 year check.

I sent my cypres in last month to SSK and I got mine back two weeks to the day I sent it, a friend sent his in the day after me and got his back the day after mine also, But someone else I know sent his in and it had problems and SSK had to send it back to Germany, He's still waiting and it's been almost two months now.
