effinjump 0 #1 June 15, 2002 We now have three Bird-Man flyers at Elsinore jumping video cameras mounted on the belly via Bone Head belly mount product. This requires that your rigger make a 'button hole' in your suit. The initial results have been surprisingly good and are getting better and better. Has anyone else out there been jumping the belly mount with a wing suit?
SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 June 17, 2002 I have jumped that mount, but not with my wingsuit. I bet it makes for some great video. My webpage HERE
SkyFlyer 0 #3 June 17, 2002 I saw Bill Stemple using that set up in Norway last Summer and it looked like it worked well. Did you put velcro on the slit in the suit for jumps where you're not wearing it? Has anyone tried to use Jason Bell's design with a wingsuit? I've BASEed the Dual Raptor but haven't winged it with one.
effinjump 0 #4 June 19, 2002 Bill Stampfle is one of the three at Elsinore. Nobody here has covered the small hole when not flying belly video. It's more of a vertical slit than a round hole, and it's no more than 2" long.
