fly 0 #1 August 5, 2002 I completed my maiden flight on saturday and was being measured for my own suit an hour later. To say that I enjoyed it would be an understatement. I do need advice though on the choices of material for the body of the suit. Would the AtmoTex be more durable option than the Balloon ZP, does AtmoTex really keep you warmer, etc? Please help me decide - AtmoTex or Balloon ZP? "Thou shall not take thine altitude for granted for the earth shall rise up and smite thee."
kevin922 0 #2 August 26, 2002 I ordered mine last week with the atmotex.. i've seen both talked to pilots with both and the atmotex seems to be "bearable" and not too hot in a fairly humid/hot jumping environment. I definately like how much more durable feeling the atmotex is so that is what i went with - i jump in VA and MS and rarely jump in the winter... I figured if i'm going to spend 700+ bucks on a suit I want it to last.. I know the Balloon ZP is durable as well and you probably won't have problems with it, but I guess for peace of mind I went with the more durable material...
