ManBird 0 #26 October 29, 2003 I asked them what options I had outside of paying with a credit card, and they said that they preferred a wire payment. I don't think they were aware that they couldn't receive wires from the US, but they are now. On another interesting note, in some places, the post office is also the bank. Réunion Island is one of those places. When they sent me info on the bank, the namne was listed as "La Poste", which seemed really odd, but is correct."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
jari 0 #27 October 29, 2003 Hey, ALL the USA suis are shipped here and we take care of the customs and all that. ALL the Europe suits are shipped DIRECTLY to the customers within EUROPE. Every European country have a different VAT. Matter and S-Fly suits are a subject to the same taxes and fees to Europeans as are BirdMan products so there is no difference there. just the base prices vary. Kind Regards,Jari "Hey, don't be afraid, ever. Because, it's just a ride."
ManBird 0 #28 October 29, 2003 Right. I think the fluctuation of currency values is a bigger factor. Right now, the US dollar is pretty weak compared to the euro."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
ManBird 0 #29 October 30, 2003 Just writing to note that Fly Your Body's bank does, in fact, take wired funds from the US. However, your bank needs to be able to wire in actual euros, not the dollar equivalent, if that makes any sense. My bank evidently does not do that."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
