LouDiamond 1 #1 February 5, 2003 Nothing revolutionary here folks, just a bit of info on something I decided to do for myself. Most have probably seen or already have a snap or snaps on the small protective flap that covers the wing cut away handles so that you can snap your booties up before flight and after opening without having to do the old tie method. I stopped off at a Michael's craft store and picked up a small box of snaps for a few bucks. They came with a small punch and base for seating the snaps. The mod was so easy that it's not funny. I think I took more time looking for the snaps in the store than it took to actually put both of them on. All you need is a hammer to seat the snap and your done. it's pretty idiot proof IMO and worth doing.
