ManBird 0 #1 April 10, 2003 I'll be at Skydive DeLand from very late on the 15th to very early on the 22nd. Any recommendations on accomodations that are free or next-to-free? Wanna let me crash? I don't mind camping, but I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone to find out of the camping area is open to campers right now. Has it been dry enough for me to forego a tent? I'm all about the roughness."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 April 11, 2003 If you don't show up at the BirdHouse (on Lexington) and introduce yourself, then you are lacking in common sense. There is plenty of tent camping and RV hookup action at Deland, but my choice as a monkey on patrol is always to check with the crew at Birdman. SkymonkeyONE 4 #4 April 11, 2003 Doooood, if you can't fine someone to stay with, you must definitely have limited soial skills! DeLand is the home of the Birdies
TB99 0 #5 April 11, 2003 I would definately offer, but I live 20 minutes away (in Daytona) and my house is small and I don't think my roommate would be happy if I brought someone in Luckily, she's moving out in either April or May and I'll have a guest bedroom from here on out to house anyone willing to drive 20 mintues to the DZ, but this will not be in time for you! Sorry I can't help you in that sense, but maybe we can do some flocking when you get here! It's a pretty hectic couple of weeks for me right now, and I'm not jumping much (which is a real surprise), but I'll definately look for a new birdie at the DZ Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

DeLand is the home of the BirdiesMy social skills ARE limited. ;) Actually, it's more of a workload vs initiative issue. I'll bug some people. I'm one of those people that when it comes to staying somewhere am totally meek, but when it comes to having guests, am totally accomodating, not realizing that others may be."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
