blair700 0 #11 June 17, 2003 Yo! I got a goofy shot of me geared up in my living room, I've been trying to use it as an avatar, but I can barely post, much less shrink a file enough to post a pic or use as an avatar. If you want me to email it to you I can, but it'll have to be later when I get home on my PC. Its definately kewl to me, but I'm sure I look a fool to everyone else...especially Quade. Too bad my flocking partner can't keep up or I'd have some aerial photos for ya heheheh f-aQ 704 Later Blair

Quote huh? according to bird-man then you can jump a suit with 200 jumps... so long as you get instruction from a BMI. So you're not quite so far away viking
 bodypilot1 0 #14 June 18, 2003 Please remember the number of jumps you have means nothing! Though I have seen people that are well qualified at 200 jumps, there are MANY people I seen that have NO business even thinking if jumping a wingsuit. What you want is to be able to do is handle any type of situation the Wingsuit may put you in if it requires an emergency procedures! Please DO contact an Birdman Instructor if your thinking of flying a suit at 200 jumps and be safe. You'll love it! Here's a pic of us flying over Monterey. If you have less than 500 jumps then it should be a one-on-one flight with a BMI. If you have over 500 jumps then we feel confident that you can read the manual and safely fly the suit. Although, I would suggest most anyone to go to a BMI if possible. You are totally right, Eddie, that jump # means little really. But, there have to be some kind of recommendations. I have surely seen people with thousands of jumps suck badly on their first flight and some 200 jump wonders who rock the sky. In fact, the 200-300 jump guy or girl who has done tracking jumps and who is truly willing and open to listening and learning is my favorite WS student to take. They usually do exactly what you tell them to do and have a nice flight. My most unfavorite? The 260 lb guy who's done 3000 tandems and who knows it all. But, of course every flight is fantastic and teaching all sorts is so much fun and so rewarding. Hey, I really like that picture, Eddy! I think Mark L may turn it in to a US mag.
