If anyone (hi, tom) from my home dz sees this post I'm probably going to get shit for it later for impatience, but....
I'm at 186 jumps. Fly a sabre2 170, lightly loaded, virtually spinproof. Looking for a BMI within relatively short range of Skydive Pepperell, New England area. Will drive quite a ways if I have to, and in any case it'll be another month or so, maybe more till I think I'm ready to have a whack at it, want to at least hit 200 and a D license first for formality's sake. If I have to I'll wait till next year or as long as I have to but dammit the flightlust is hard to resist. Figured I'd better start shopping ahead of time. PM me or post details/recommendations here please.
Live and learn... or die, and teach by example.

Hello Lurch,
Please dont think just because you have gotten in 200 jumps that your ready to try a wingsuit!
PLEASE get with a BMI and let him know how current you are, and maybe do a few jumps WITHOUT the wingsuit before you put one on. He can give you pointers on what you may need to work on BEFORE you jump a suit, and it may take a number of jumps to get where you need to be before you can put one on. Please don't think I am douting your ability, just go about jumping a wingsuit the right way. Though I am in California, let me know if I can help you in any way?

Do not expect BirdMan to send you a demo suit as an individual unless you have over 500 jumps. That said, we (as BM-I's) are the people who normally do that demo ordering. It's getting to the point now that we are very reluctant to just send suits out people who cannot recieve proper instruction. That said, there are quite a few BM-I's out in the field now, so it ought not be hard to locate one. Still, I feel the best opportunities to get the training with the least amount of hassle are at the big functions, like here at WFFC. There are not less than seven BM-I's here at the convention.
