hawkflight 0 #1 November 11, 2003 While I'm quite new to skydiving I have become quite obsessed...I have spent countless hours on the internet absorbing all the skydiving related knowledge I can find....any way I have seen these "wingsuits" on several sites and once I processed the possibilities in my head I wanted to find out from those who have experience with these suits the pros and cons ....when will I be experienced enough a skydiver to purchace and enjoy these suits?......I have longed to fly my whole life and I imagine this is pretty close........my first AFF jump is only 5 days away.... kevin922 0 #2 November 11, 2003 it's been discussed here before, but just to go ahead and answer you the recommendation is 200 skydives within the last year or 500 total. And that is 200 within the last year to get instruction from a instructor or 500 to read the manual, instruction from an instructor is still recommended. Paige 0 #6 November 24, 2003 Floaty chicks rule-sorta, we're just too darn cute that's all! My bf is obsessed with his wingsuit. I only managed one jump with him this summer because of it What's a girl to do?!?!? I just can't wait till I am able to jump one so I can keep up and jump with him.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

Paige 0 #8 November 25, 2003 I was thinking about that but when he went out on a rodeo with someone else, it put him in a nasty spin. I ruled that out untill he can straighten out the spin issues. I'm not good enough to throw myself into a situation where he is having problems, I would be afraid I would only add to them seeing as I only have 30 jumps Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

PhreeZone 20 #10 November 25, 2003 Paiger... The Rodeo was'nt his fault And besides you know the key to surviving... ARCH. I've been on BM rodeo from hell's and smooth ones. I laughed my ass off when I kicked the rider off and I watched them fall away from me as I flew home. I'd advise you to steal your boy's Pantz and show them off in the air some time.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Paige 0 #11 November 25, 2003 I know nothing was his fault, just easiest way to describe it seeing as I was on the ground when it happened. I know I can survive, I just feel so inadequate compared to him/his experience and don't want him to feel like he has to jump with me. I want him to jump with me when he wants to, not when I want him to. That would defeat the purpose, so until then I patiently wait A BM rodeo does sound like fun though, he never asked or invited me on a jump, had he I would have said YES instantly (probably before the words finished coming out of his mouth). I would have loved to jump with him more than once this season but sometimes things don't always work out how we would like them too . Again, what's a girl to do but wait patiently?Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

Paige 0 #13 November 25, 2003 I tried, didn't work I'll have a week in Florida with him coming up in December. I've never jumped in FL so I told him if he doesn't jump with me I'll break his legs. Then I thought, I could just hide his wing suit for the week I can play dumb and cute, "No, I don't know where it went " --I really wouldn't do this, he feinds for his nylon crack too hard-- Things will work out (I hope). Thanks for the input, I'll have to try your method again in FL and I'll let ya know how it went!Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
