Helmet????? Say what?

Recommended Posts

Nothing I like better than jumping without a helemt when I am by myself. It is like riding a bike without one, but with less things to run into ..ha ha. When I jump the suit I rarely wear one. When flocking with others, especially unknowns I sometime like to have some thing on. When I am alone.......its just me and the flight....I like it when it gets quiet! Play Safe!

Monique's husband Tim was one of them back at an AFF course in 94, so I learned how fast and unexpected it can happen. Hope he wears one now?

"ITS YOUR CHOICE".
LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY!

I agree with Ed 100% - it is a choice and it is great that people have the freedom to make that choice. I don't harp on people for not wearing them - that is their personal choice... I will however, encourage it to newbies that ask if they really are necessary to wear.
And yes, Ed, Tim wears a helmet on EVERY skydive. I have known him for 9 years and have never seen him NOT wear one.

Moi Vesa! I have been in Finland - Helsinki Club though. I would indeed like to visit again. Thanks for the invite.

About the Jari wearing a full-face at the Herc boogie - sinetolletoikiasa!!!! (Damnnn it's hard to spell those long Finnish words - I'm trying to say YOU ARE RIGHT!) Maybe it was that licorice flavored alchohol I was drinking on the last day that erased my memory.

I do remember now though that Jari and many others had on full-face helmets, which with those big groups of not all-very-experienced WS flyers taking out a chunk was an excellent idea! I was much safer doing one-on-ones.

Well, in fact there is three words in that sentence, so no wonder it's a bit hard to combine them to a one word, and then try to spell it ;) (sinä olet oikeassa) but, Jari has taught you well ;)
