How long is the wait, for a new BM

Recommended Posts

I'd stay away from an S3 as a first time suit. There is a lot of really good advice in these fourms and now over at Flybirdman.com as to why an S3 is not a good suit for beginners. The S3 is a suit to get when you are taking your skyflying to the limits. When you are wanting to go longer, faster and slower then anyone before. If you are going to be flocking with anyone else the S3 will only fly at its potential with another S3. The S3 is probally the suit with the biggest burble and there fore the most potential issues on deployment.

Hi Ro
Yes he was here for a weekend , and he is coming back on 17 , 18 of january , for a Casa 212 boogie we are having.

I have done the research in the forum , and have read some people , jumping the S3 as first suit .
I know I shouldnt say this , but people , said the same to me , when I started flying my Xaos 88 , stay away . Know I am really really happy with my canopy . I think I can apply this to the suit.
Anyway I will do some Gti jumps before.

Thanks for the advice

It sounds like you have your mind made up on an S3 as your first suit. I just wanted to add that if one is not careful with the S3 he will find the suit flying him instead of the him flying the suit. I know that sounds strange but wait until you start jumping the S3, it is a fun and great suit but it can very easily take control of flight if you are not careful. I have about 60 GTI jumps and about 60 S3 jumps and it seemed that when I stared jumping the S3 and when doing acrobatics with the S3 sometimes it will start flying me for a few seconds. What ever your decision be careful, have fun and welcome to the flock

He will have suits to demo and may even sell one to you after the event is over. I suggest you e-mail him and let him know your size/height so that you can ensure he has a suit to accomodate you.
