beer I bought...
First flight over the week end... amazing. I'm hooked in one flight... :)I found it quite tricky to deal with all the zippers under the canopy but I suppose you get better and quicker after a while...

Question for people who base jump with a wingsuit: how the hell do you find the time to open up everything ? What altitude do you usually open at when base jumping with a wingsuit ?

I'll be in elsinore for the next three month. Anybody willing to teach a newby ?

cheers,

Paddy.

As for your zippers, I found it helpful to add a larger piece of webbing at the end of the zipper to grab onto after deployment. I used a thin piece (3/8" wide) of yellow webbing or binding tape and then tied several knots in it. It's about 4" long and makes it easier to grab onto. Many jumpers go for the zippers as the canopy is opening...

Re. time to open zippers.

With time you'll get real fast at unzipping your arms!
(practice with your eyes closed)

If you are jumping an SF or S3 you can land with your leg wing on. Hence saving time in your 10 second canopy ride to release the toggles and flare :P

See some of the videos Obi posted on blinc wingsuit forum a while back.

long flights,
