Hazarrd 1 #1 March 20, 2004 Will Birdman be having any demos available at any DZ on the East Coast between May-August? Preferably around the MD/NJ/DE area...Thanks! .-.
jmfreefly 0 #2 March 20, 2004 Depending on your size, there are a few of us down in VA with more than one suit, and a couple of BMIs. If you are willing to travel down to CSS over easter, I believe Chuck is going to be there with demos.. j
LouDiamond 1 #3 March 20, 2004 Birdman Inc. has no plans to be in those immediate areas. You can try the spring expo at skydive Chicago March 27-28. Jari should be there and I might be there as well. Chuck and I will be at CSS in full force with a full compliment of demo suits and Pantz for the Easter boogie. Chuck should be in wildwood NJ in june-july for the PST swoop meet. No idea if he plans on stopping at a DZ and doing any Birdman. I am sure there is a BMI close to you that could have a demo suit sent to him and conduct a FFC for you."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

I'll be there for this and would love to demo a suit if possible. I poked around bird-man.com but I couldn't find any jump number requirements (for some reason I can't open PDFs on this computer, so I haven't read the manuals). I have 222 jumps, 160-ish since this time last year. Is that going to be enough?
LouDiamond 1 #5 March 20, 2004 500 is recommended although 200 jumps minimum and current, with a BMI giving you the First Flight Course is acceptable."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
DShiznit 0 #6 March 21, 2004 What is the average cost I should expect for the first jump course with a BMI?

Birdman Inc's normal charge is $60(ground training, suit rental and in air evaluation) plus 2 slots(yours and the BMI's) Prices may vary by the event or discretion of the BMI."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
