KidWicked 0 #1 April 10, 2004 What sort of fallrate are people getting in their Pantz? From 13.5 or thereabouts - what duration of freefall? Amazon 7 #2 April 11, 2004 I think the real questiopn is do they do what they are supposed to do. I have gone on tracking dives with some very talented trackers and hung in there with them and I am not what one would normally call a floatybutt. I dont think I have really measured the extended time on them . Tonights sunset tracking jump 8800 ft of freefall 56 seconds...with a low speed of 108.. ANYONE who knows me knows that is really slow for me.
PhreeZone 20 #3 April 11, 2004 I did a really nice tracking dive with Zak from Lake Wales in Jan where he was with out pantz and I had them and we were into the 95 mph range and I had a little more lift left if I wanted to.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
vesatoro 0 #4 April 12, 2004 My whole jump averages with Pantz and a Goretex jacket are around 80mph (TAS) and freefall times up to 90 seconds from 14000ft. (130lbs and 5ft8") Vesa BMCI #845 "Fear is the path to the Dark side" (Master Yoda)

(130lbs and 5ft8") Vesa BMCI #845 I concur. I', 5'10" and about 180 out the door. I consistently average 78 - 80 MPH down with my BASE Pantz, with mid and low 70s held for 15 - 20 seconds stretches on some jumps. Did 99 seconds from 14k in Eloy (deployed at 1,800 feet). Still trying to break 100. I generally wear a longsleeve shirt with a t-shirt over it, so drag is only on the forearms. Works far better for me than a freefly jacket. Flown properly, a Pantz jump feels more like a wingsuit flight than a tracking dive. This applies to the BASE version. I've generally seen people with similar dimensions and a lot of experience with the freefly version stay in the mid 80s to lower 90s. They can be flown with wingsuits rather well: http://www.deepart.org/sight/s3_vs_pantz.avi"¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
