SkymonkeyONE 4 #1 May 21, 2004 Better show up to the airport with your passport or a copy of your birth certificate! If you have neither, then you can forget getting on the airplane.....Seriously. I had not been to Canada in over 15 years and my military ID used to do the job just fine, but not now. Come on up here, but please be prepared at the airport if you are flying across the border. murrays 0 #3 May 21, 2004 Sure wish I could head off to Kamloops this weekend. It would be great to learn from you Chuck. Have a great time out there.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
ManBird 0 #4 May 24, 2004 Drove to Seattle and flew to Kamloops with a stop in Vancouver where security nearly fired my reserve. Untrained bastards. I was forced to check my rig and it didn't make to Kamloops until the next day. Rained and rained and rained so we drank and drank and drank. The plan was to fly up, but then drive back with some friends. They never showed up, so I was stranded. Spent all my jump money on a ticket back home. $600 for two flights. Made the best of it though. Partied, checked out Kamloops, met some cool people, and arm wrestled a stripper, so it wasn't all bad. The weather cleared up right before I left. When I got home, it turned out that my ride did in fact go up there, but it wasn't until later (communication breakdown). That bastard probably took my slot on the helicopter. ;) I bet a lot of people are having fun jumping their asses off while I'm flat broke back at home. Wah wah wah. Oh, well. West Plains should kick ass... weather pending."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
ManBird 0 #5 May 25, 2004 I guess I should also mention that BC is beautiful and the five way we did right before we left kicked ass. Gotta keep those positives in there."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click

SkymonkeyONE 4 #7 May 26, 2004 I think I made six jumps on Saturday and another six on Sunday. Sunday was outstanding. Many, many great flights with the newly minted BMI's and about four first flight students. See you next year! Chuck
RayLosli 11 #8 May 28, 2004 Yo... ManBird Yea.. That Canadian security was some of the weirdest stuff I have seen in a long time. Wanting to Blow, 150 Sq. Ft. of fabric in the security line to show that ( professionally trained idiot ) the Reserve Pilot Chute, Spring was some funny shit. Now.... Man those Canadian strip clubs are ruff. That chic on chic, strip fight on stage with the leather belt, kicked ass. About that Stripper. You know that you cheated to beat her Arm Wrestiling ...No Really... She was F###king Buffly Ripped and Bad. In real life she would most likely be able to kick your Ass. ...Ray Losli
