Horizontal wind tunnels are easier to find than vertical ones, especially if you're involved in engineering or studying at university - surely someone has been bored one day at work and had a go? verticalflyer 11 #3 November 5, 2004 Deug used a windtunnel for a lot of testing, pics can be found on the paramag archives, I am sure Craig could locate!!:) As for flying in a vertical windtunnel unless its damn big I would speculate it would be very dangerous bar having marshmallow walls!
