funks 1 #1 December 8, 2004 I am getting ready to buy a GTI. The previous owner is 6'1. I am 5'11. Will this be a major issue in the suit fitting right? Should i hold off and find one worn by someone my exact height?
leroydb 0 #2 December 8, 2004 it should not matter that much. if anything wear a thicker sole shoe. I would ask to try it on for fit of course before buyingLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... notsane 0 #3 December 8, 2004 2" is hard to make up without alterations. You'll probably have to maintain wood the entire dive to keep the leg wing tight. BUT, I have a friend who's 6'1" and wants a GTi bad. I'm 5'11" 200lbs and have a S1 to sell. Kismet, huh?

VectorBoy 0 #6 December 8, 2004 I have two suits that are sized for someone at least 2 inches bigger than I am and they work great. In fact a little bigger in height has become my defacto preference for BM wingsuit sizing.
unclecharlie109 0 #7 December 8, 2004 I would recommend high heels
SkymonkeyONE 4 #8 December 8, 2004 Likewise, my GTi is probably two inches longer than my S3 and it flies fine.

What does that do from a flight or fitting standpoint?
VectorBoy 0 #10 December 8, 2004 My classic was a right on fit but both of my S-3s were not sized for me and I like the fit better. You don't have to feel that you are ripping the booties when you fly just fill the suit when you extend your feet. This will not work on the mono-wing suits as you have to properly tension the shoulder-arm- bootie to get the most from them. The suit is the whole wing and the whole suit should have tension.
