riggerrob 643 #1 January 21, 2005 Marina's wingsuit was mentioned in a Russian skydiving magazine and I found a link to a Russian-language website. www.dropzone.ru/guestold98.shtml - 101k It sort of resembles a Birdman Classic. Can a Cyrillic-reading skydiver please translate?
Huha 0 #2 January 21, 2005 If this http://www.dropzone.ru/marina_droplet.shtml is what you're talking of, than it's: "Marina's Droplet - there's nothing better for parachutists/skydivers; 10 years of continuous resarch, to the idea becoming reality. From RW and FF suits to the latest models of wingsuits. We will help you in choosing any design/model to be used with your favourite rig, counting in all your wishes." Than it's the phone # and mail address, and the order form... Regards, Huha (>o<-<
SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 January 21, 2005 The red one is a copy of an original BirdMan Classic and the Yellow/Blue one is a copy of the Classic II. Not sure what the little rectangles on the knees and booties are supposed to be for on the Yellow one. Chuck
LouDiamond 1 #4 January 21, 2005 QuoteNot sure what the little rectangles on the knees and booties are supposed to be for on the Yellow one. My guess is velcro to hold the booties up instead of snaps."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
verticalflyer 11 #5 January 22, 2005 29 measurements to take wow, thats got to be the most precise wingsuit on the market from the tailoring perspective, does look remarkably similiar to the Classic IDont just talk about it, Do it!
FeFe 0 #6 January 23, 2005 It's Russian replicas of original Classic and Classic 2. I flew the red one, but since I have never flown the original Classic I can not tell the difference . Solid stable suit, great for beginners. PM Yuri 'Outrager' for details. Or check with Perry - he saw Marina's suits during Moscow boogie last year.
