arlo 0 #1 February 4, 2005 for all of you guys that are continually slamming jari or robi or whoever... get over yourselves. you guys are making the sport look like shit. jari and robi parting ways is THEIR business - not any of yours. you won't hear jari talking about how shitty robi's suits are - nor will you hear robi talking about how shitty jari's suits are. you know why? because they're both better people than to do that petty shit. what you have is a healthy market now with suits to choose from and ALL of the suits are bad ass. If it weren't for BOTH these guys (and the other designers) there might not be too many wingsuits to fly right now. be thankful that they helped introduce human flight the way they did together. why must people turn this into an "us and them" scenario? leave it alone and just enjoy the flights and learn from each other. most people that have swapped over to another suit have done so from a birdman suit. so you weren't bitching about them before, why all of a sudden did they start to suck? don't be stupid. what changed was the type of wingsuit you fly (which may be better or not) but most importantly the attitude that you have. three years ago everyone was so stoked and acting like a bunch of kids because everyone were part of this new genre of skydiving. everyone was excited about sharing what was learned on each of your jumps and look at it now: pissing contests. for fuck's sake people, get a life and let the drama go. some of you are worse than a bunch of hens. arlo
Tonto 1 #2 February 4, 2005 But... but... That makes so much sense! Of course, after a lifetime of martial arts, I see the same thing here. Everyone pushing their style, when in fact, we're all the same to everyone on the outside. tIt's the year of the Pig.

aubsmell 0 #4 February 4, 2005 Arlo, I still feel like a little kid every time I fly my suit...and I spend most of the flight thinking to myself "I'm a rocket ship" so I just say, thanks guys for making me a rocket ship. Bartje 0 #6 February 4, 2005 How more people try to defend there thing, how more unsure they feel about their choise. Once the human kind choose for something, here a suit, people are not giving up easy or are open minded for again something new. When the new thing is comming from someone they know from the past, it is a human thing to bitch it because it does not justefy their choise. Keep it in mind when you try be a frontierwalker. bodypilot1 0 #8 February 4, 2005 Thanks Arlo. As Chuck said, it's just one or two people that are doing the slamming, or pissing, and trying to divide the wingsuit flyers. Unfortunatly, in their minds, these people became disgruntled by a manufacturer or "factory guys", and their sole intent is to divide. Open invitations to ALL wingsuit styles are being sent out to for events on both coasts. and maybe it will unite the divided and change opinions that all suits fly abit different and look different, and all that matters is we are flying as a flock, regardless of the stlye suit. We'll see if they take the initiative to attend, or continue to carry on the with their childish endeavors. The wingsuit market will grow and the manufacturers, like in the canopy market, will come and go in the future. People should jump the suits they like and stop pissing toward the suits or manufacturers they feel disgruntled by, because their piss is only going on their own feet. Flock on.
