A quick back-of-the-envelope calculation is that thrust required for level flight is given by your exit weight divided by your glide ratio without the engine. So if you exit at 200lbs and have a glide ratio of 2.5, you'd need 80 lbs of thrust to maintain level flight. Any extra thrust could be used to climb.

glide ratio with engines off at 2.5 is quite a correct guess, maybe slightly more. Weight is more... Around 280lbs... The wing itself with all tanks full is around 120 lbs...

I wish my wingsuit had..._________________

A way to grab the risers immediately after opening, without having to unzip or cut away anything.

I've had a couple scary experiences pulling the cables _just_ in time to get turned around and flare.

I also once had a friend land before pulling the cutaway, and get stuck in a cactus until someone else could pull his wing cutaway, but that was a rather exceptional case.

All of mine do.

That could have been added for free, should you have requested one when you ordered it. ;)

I would have, had it been an option on the order form. I didn't even think about it at the time.

The GTi patch on the arm is a nice enough size that I'm just going to have my rigger turn it into a pocket. I just need it to hold some cash, jump tix, and some gutted 550.:)
