Quoteas a side note: I can reach and get 4 fingers around either the left or right rear riser. If I grab it and also shift in the harness you can do a quick adjustment or even try to stablize a spin...
I can get both risers on my S3 almost every time. I made a post about it on here recently...
It's still not quite the same as having full use of my arms though. I don't have enough control of the risers to actually get multiple linetwists undone once they've formed (for that I unzip) but being able to hold them during deployment is a comfort thing and also helps prevent twists...

Yes I can grab quite away up my risers without fully unzipping.
I'm referring to good number of people that have more than plenty of jumps and experience to enjoy wingsuiting that can't overcome the "mental confinement " of the arm wings.
In one case I know a guy who has several thousand jumps, is a monster tracker and even owns a slightly used classic but doesn't feel at home without the ability to use all of his " flight surfaces" freely. He only has a handfull of jumps on his classic but when his confort level reach his skill level equalibrium he will be a "flock rocket".

Are you getting enough reach to make a good riser turn? Or is it one of those "I can just get my fingers on them" kind of deals?

I am guessing I couldn't make a turn since I don't grab rears, I grab "everything" just above the 3 rings. And like I said, I think I can only make this grab at a certain point during deployment, after that I let go to unzip, then I can either grab rears to turn or the "whole risers" again to undo twists.
I'm honestly not sure if I could make a turn, since I just grab them during deployment (not the best grab possible, but not just a touch either) and let go after full inflation. I don't think I could probably make a turn, or even undo twists as I said earlier, but it does feel like it makes the deployment more controllable to a small degree, and definitely more comfortable. Sometimes if I slip and grab the wrong way though, it seems to induce twists. On my GTi it always was worse if I reached up... on my S3 I seem to have a good success rate. This could be totally coincidental or based on one of a million other variables...

IMHO this is the best way to screw up your opening... But you have way more WS flights than I do...
What I do is fly the opening with my butt. Just feeling how it goes and correcting if I feel necessary...

In my case its a false sence of security kind of thing. That makes me think in the case of line twists I can just kinda Conan the risers apart again.

More pictures please?
Sounds like a great concept.

The attached photo of the prototype should answer some of the questions
The armwing design was inspired by the early hang gliders. The arm forms the leading edge, the wing is the top skin and the resulting airflow completes the airfoil "section". The result is an effective wing that makes reaching the BOC super easy.
The intermediate suit is also looking great, Robi said he will be taking both suits to the Z-Flock
