bmoore21184 0 #1 October 7, 2003 Has anyone ever heard or used one of these helmets? I have only see it on a couple websites. Its by the same makers of the Z1. I am looking for a inexpensive first helmet like a Pro-Tec but noticed that this one has a pouch for an audible. I was just wondering if anyone had used one and if they liked it or not. There were not any reviews on this helmet in the review section. Thanks a lot. B. Moore
MarkR 0 #2 October 8, 2003 Hi, I do jump a Parasport Fairwind and it's pretty ok. Basically there aren't any differences between Fairwind and Protec. I wonder where you got the idea that the Fairwind does have a dytter pouch though. Haven't noticed that one on mine yet... BlueS, Mark»Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Zoter 0 #3 October 8, 2003 Like wise...I have one.....but didnt see the 'pouch' for the dytter...unless it fits into where the foam moulding for the ears are. Its secure, cheap and is serving me fine.Feels very 'snug' and secure...which personally is what I wanted.....( seen too many helmets come off students cause they didnt fit well !) We use them for students and I wore one occasionally before I got my Evo. It fits well and even reduces some noise if you leave the padding over the ears inside. If you take it out, you get an opening (two, even!) that could accomodate a dytter, although I wouldn't put one in without attaching it with wires or some sort of clip.
