Trying to get a list together of what this years Skyfest will look like-(I was asked not to use the on going thread in the events forum)

So far it looks like we will have Phoenix Fly, Birdman, Sugarglider, and maybe an SFly demo.

Hehe, you might be right about not showing up. Even if I don't show lets examine the facts. I weigh 160lbs an 5'10" with a slinder build (no gut). You, my firend, have an aerodynamic disasvantage due to large consumptions of beer. Another note, I spend most of my bird jumps maxed out, unless I am flocking with you guys . I fly for forward speed instead of fall rate (yes BASE does help something). Even after his said, lets assume you do "ACTUALLY" get your suit in, I can bet a good some of money you wont be able to max it in 5 jumps, which is about the point I will be jumping with you. Hell, lets make it interesting, I will fly on my back!

Do you really want to get into a forward speed contest with someone who's taller, heavier, has more leg wing, has a better suit, and is a better flyer? Also, the suit is 'out for delivery' according to UPS, so it's getting delivered sometime this afternoon.
Only a couple more hours to go.


All joking aside, I'm really interested in seeing the performance difference in the two suits, and seeing you and Voodew fly each other's suits. Should be fun.

This event is turning out to be the battle of the wingsuits ---- and battle just sounds good it will really be the showing of the newest suits out there.

If all is true we should see the unvailing of the S5 and PHI vs. the Vampire V1 and Prodigy.


I would like to see the 2 suits (V1 & S5) fly head to head to see who can take the crown of the "fastest yet slowest suit in the world"

I think "battle of the wingsuits" is a taking it a bit far. Any very-experienced wingsuit pilot in a lesser suit is going to smoke the piss out of lesser experienced jumpers in "better" suits. For what it's worth, I have made a LOT of wingsuit flights with Perry. He isn't getting away from me and I am not getting away from him, no matter what we are jumping.
