SCARYPERRY 0 #33 May 2, 2005 Doing some tests, been worken on flat spins and comparing velocity and grey out time.Didnt unhook suit, they got gear bag and camera case will post stolen gear as soon as I get serial #s as for data on camera, will have to go thrue this rotten process all over again when new cams arriveOnly he can be happy, who can make his the present hour, for today he has lived
The111 1 #34 May 2, 2005 "Grey out"... does that mean what it sounds like? Partial blackout? Something tells me doing that intentionally probably isn't the smartest idea, but I guess I should think about who I'm talking to... Serial #'s or not, I'll bet yours was the only Vector out there with Phoenix Fly logo on it! Where was the bag taken from? Did you have some sort of renters insurance to help you with the monetary hit? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
SCARYPERRY 0 #35 May 2, 2005 no insurence.... as for flat spin testing, yes I try to test things in somewhate controlled conditions, train for it now, before it happens and you dont want to panic, S3 is easily recoverd but as the spin builds, its hard to let it gain full monetum!! Some things I do are for a reason, and I try to keep data out of public till its worked out. Flat spins can black you out very quikly, always looking for better recovery tech.so we all can benifit!!! Is that scary??yup, sometimes I get a bit quesy as well,Only he can be happy, who can make his the present hour, for today he has lived
