bodypilot1 0 #26 June 6, 2005 QuoteI find flying with first flight students MUCH more challenging than simple "blot" flocks. I 100% agree with you on that one. Be safe. Edwww.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
The111 1 #28 June 6, 2005 My guess is it's a static (1-point) flock that from the ground looks like a big blot of ink. Maybe even 0-point (non slot specific) so everybody just flies along in a big blob.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

SkymonkeyONE 4 #31 June 7, 2005 I don't see the point, Perry.
TomAiello 26 #32 June 7, 2005 I guess that, in theory, you could increase your max forward speed with weights. But I don't know anyone who's flying for max forward speed yet, so I'm with Chuck, at least so far. I don't really see the point.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com

moonglo 0 #34 June 7, 2005 I have worn 6-10 lbs of weight occasionally when jumping my gti with students in classics. It doesn't change the flight much from what I can tell, but it makes me use my wings a bit more and demonstrate better body position. It also makes the suit fit quite a bit tighter when i'm not wearing my winter clothes edited to add: it's much easier to fly with a weight vest than a belt (all I have is a belt for RW)
