leroydb 0 #2 June 19, 2005 i think the birdman track pants (nonbase version) already accomplish this. Good job on making your own pair. let us know how they work!Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... VectorBoy 0 #3 June 20, 2005 I don't think the BM pantz do as well when flying on your back.
leroydb 0 #4 June 20, 2005 depends on the pilot. I have tracked with some guys that were on their backs that could outtrack most on their bellys with out tracking aids... VectorBoy 0 #5 June 21, 2005 Oh I understand what you are saying and agree. I'm referring to the pantz themselves. Front side has more potential for inflation, lift and drag. The backside is a little "too slick". This is one of my peeves about this product, in regards strictly to the BM pantz, I wish the texture was the same back or belly. It is very evident in formation tracks or atmonuati. I thought about installing an applique to the lower calves similar to the front but its too many layers to sew through and still guarantee inflation as designed.
