voodew1 0 #1 September 14, 2005 This should be fun -- the Halloween Boogie at Skydive San Marcos Oct 28th-30th We will have Pheonix Fly Prodigys to demo for those that have never tried There is nothing else going on this weekend that will draw the BASE jumpers away so we should have 8 to 10 good flockers If you have never flown a Vampire V1 and are qualified, can stand up every landing, and can fit in one of the suits we will let you give it a whirl also. For the experienced flyers we will have 2 GS-1s on hand (already in our possession) If you plan on attending please let me know so we can do some planning ahead of time. SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 September 30, 2005 Doesn't Eric Butts manage San Marcos these days? I am going to have to call him and punk him into flying a suit. Doesn't Perry have a really big demo? If not, we have a Phi that will fit him. Chuck

Professor 0 #7 September 30, 2005 Quote Yes he does. I would pay to see a wingsuit THAT big We had him in an SFly down in Waller last October. He was planning to jump, but the weather didn't cooperate. I think the FAS Prodigy Perry has would fit him (and Josh), or maybe Chuck will send us this big Phi he has. Ted Like a giddy school girl. voodew1 0 #12 October 19, 2005 Jeff you should definetly be interested in the Acro and Phantom but.................... you won't be able to reach your risers with out unzipping - I know that is a real deal killer for you, but.......the Prodigy will always be available to you and Kim. ___________________________________________________ As for the smoke bracket response, I will post pics as soon as the testing is complete, here are some details though---the smoke canister will sit off the foot about 5 inches, you will be able to walk and run without problems, and of course there will be a quick release device, smoke canister will mount either direction but design is smoke outlet pointing at the toe. We are still in design phase and trying to make it as snag free as possible --- there are several weak minds at work designing this. Once the final product is ready it will be marketed 'kinda' The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
Brains 2 #13 October 21, 2005 Quoteyou won't be able to reach your risers with out unzipping - I know that is a real deal killer for you, but....... I had so much fun with the prodigy, i am getting over the riser thingy. Plus i am getting much better with my deployments I use my harness more than anything else now. I want to fly the prodigy several more times first though. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
voodew1 0 #14 October 21, 2005 Ted and I will be there by noon on Friday -- I will probably be there much earlier --- For those interested in the GS1s I am heading to the Fedex dock shortly to pick up suits and the new tailwing attachments --- there will be no suit rental on the GS1s......but you have to be qualified (experienced wingsuit pilot - and I have to witness your canopy skills - no but sliding allowed as these suits do not belong to me). All of the Phoenix Fly suits will have a $10 per jump fee or we can work something out by the day or weekend rental. We also plan on some demonstration jumps (high speed 5000' exit with smoke) to maybe spur some interest from both the ground and in plane visuals Hope to see some new faces Voodew The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
moonglo 0 #15 October 24, 2005 I'll be out early Sat. and would love to try the phantom and acro (if they fit) and I'll join you on the high speed exit demo if you like- got an extra smoke bracket I can borrow? doesn't have to be a wingsuit friendly one, my gti's already fried on the left leg. I'll be bringing my 3 prodigies and Larry's classic too. Those gs-1's are rough on the upper body, y'all better be working out before you demo them! Wimpy me got 33mph top end and 51 mph bottom end when i gave up to save my arms/shoulders for the pull and landing.

voodew1 0 #17 October 31, 2005 Well its over 'til next year --- had great weather, great planes, excellent dives, met some new flyers , even made some new flyers. The Acro wingsuit was the bomb, it didn't fit me but watching it fly on its back leading the flock awesome. The smoke jumps seemed to be a hit with all (except for that one where somebody went a little low, not really sure who that guy was but I am sure he posts here) Next year we should be able to at least half fill the Casa for a wingsuit load if not more Even manifest was awesome Voodew The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
Brains 2 #18 October 31, 2005 Dude i can't tell you how awesome that visual was of you exiting on that high speed pass. Watching that red suit leave straight back then disappear above the plane was incredible. Yeah, i don't know who that low guy was, for a minute i thought scary perry had shown up. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
