cynci 0 #27 November 22, 2005 Nice, but you forgot to blur the "fan blades" inside the engine... unless that pic was taken before the jet E was started? Here is fule to your fire, boys... The111 1 #31 November 22, 2005 Dave, what is the reflection? Looks like another birdman but it's oriented screwy. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
Deuce 1 #32 November 22, 2005 You could add just a touch more realism by having his lower lip getting sucked into the blades...
pilotdave 0 #34 November 22, 2005 Yeah, it's a bird man doing a barrel roll. Figured anyone that took that pic would be on his back. Tried to distort it to sort of match the contour, but I wasn't gonna spend another hour on a reflection. BTW, I did blur the blades, even though it doesn't look like they should be blurred. I THINK the front row is actually nonmoving vanes, but I could be wrong. Mine does also have a smoke trail but it's a little more subtle. Dave
pilotdave 0 #35 November 22, 2005 Nice work! Wish we'd shared the layer masks... took way too long to cut out the background. Dave

I got pretty sloppy on making the exhaust and trail [think 10 layers or so] and my mask isn't the best, but hey.I really don't know what I'm talking about. Hahaha like Adam on Mythbusters getting his lip sucked into the vacuum cleaner engine? Very funny. Also looked very painful.Costyn van Dongen - http://www.flylikebrick.com/ - World Wide Wingsuit News
