LouDiamond 1 #8 January 16, 2006 From Rolf: a BIRD-Mass-Exit with 70 BIRDMEN and -WOMEN. 11.-16.July 2006 Some of you got this news already; Those who are thinking of participating, should be able to deal with 70 people in the sky at a time. No, I'm not expecting them to fly picture-perfect-formations right away - but never the less, we will try to build one! Again: the record is set when we fly away from the plane with 70 BIRDS!! How to do it? Go to www.mdskydive.de and register. Let me know (email rolf.brombach AT freenet.de ) that you signed up, I will put you on my (BIRD-)list and provide you with further and necessary information! For my "neighbour-BIRDS" from GB, DAN, NL, B, CH etc. it should be a piece of cake to join this very attractive and unique event in the middle of Germany*! And for the others, the "down-unders" :) eventually it makes double-sense to come to Europe, due to the "Big One" in Russia!! See www.bird-man.com for more details. Don't miss out on a chance to be part of history as this record is set!"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
mccordia 74 #9 April 16, 2006 There's a sh*tload of Dutch people dropping by...who else is comingJC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
LouDiamond 1 #10 April 16, 2006 QuoteThere's a sh*tload For those who don't know, that is quantitatively a lot more than say a buttload but only slightly higher than an assload"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
lurch 0 #11 April 17, 2006 A Shitload is eight. It is actually a technical term describing the quantity... One is one, a couple is two, a few is three, a bunch is five, and a shitload is eight. Everyone knows that. So you have 8 dutch showing up. I'm not sure how many an assload is but it sounds like its even more than a fuckton. Thats twelve, for those who don't know, I learned this from a guy with a jeep who it turns out could fit a fuckton of shit in his jeep. This turned out to be 12 pieces of wood.Live and learn... or die, and teach by example.
LouDiamond 1 #12 April 17, 2006 Quotea fuckton. Thats twelve, for those who don't know And here I thought the Brits using Stones was contrived We are going to have to figure all these measuring systems out to make sure we can get everyone on the plane"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
jakee 1,500 #13 April 17, 2006 QuoteAnd here I thought the Brits using Stones was contrived Actually those are the units we use to measure drugs. For instance three Keith Richards of heroin has a street value of approximately 1.5 million dollars.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
lurch 0 #14 April 17, 2006 I can see it now.... we can fit a fuckton of wingsuits, a shitload of freeflyers and a couple RW guys in the average Otter, all at the same time....Live and learn... or die, and teach by example.

LouDiamond 1 #18 June 28, 2006 The radio interview about this event can be found on SKYDIVE RADIO Registration is full but Rolf is still taking names for standbys. If you're not comfortable doing the record attempt there will also be a whole week prior to the attempt that we will be organizing smaller flocks, providing coaching and plenty of suit demos to include the IMPACT. The AN-72 is going to be flying for the entire boogie so don't miss out on this opportunity to fly above the airplane and exit from 15k feet.
