smurf 0 #1 May 27, 2006 Anybody else jumping this suit? I have about 10-15 jumps on my suit and I'm trying to figure out what kind of performance I should be aiming for when it comes to vertical speed. On my last few jumps my average vertical speed has been 62-63 mph according to my pro-track. How much slower should I be able to go? >erlend
pbla4024 0 #2 May 28, 2006 Zun told me they are getting vertical speeds just below 100 km/h. Fido
LouDiamond 1 #3 May 29, 2006 QuoteZun told me they are getting vertical speeds just below 100 km/h. I think that is a conservative number as I know I have gotten speeds lower than that on my S-fly on several occasions without trying. From watching the Soulflyers videos one can see the vertical decent is easily below that number as well."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
smurf 0 #5 May 29, 2006 I tried changing from TAS to SAS mode on the protrack and it then shows an average of 60mph(avg1: 54mph, avg2: 67mph). Do you know which mode is most accurate? >e
phoenixlpr 0 #6 May 29, 2006 Both? But you can not compare TAS speeds.... SAS is normalized, so you can compare.
