voodew1 0 #51 April 26, 2007 Quote I would be completely and utterly stoked if we had thirty pilots there for the event/record. Well prepare to be stoked - I can send you a list of names and experience levels and it should be at least 20 and that with no out of towners What day were you planning on showing up??? SkymonkeyONE 4 #53 April 26, 2007 I haven't even thought about when I ought to get there. My guess is the day before the official start of the event.
FlyinBob 0 #54 April 26, 2007 QuoteI will be representing BirdMan in a training capacity, too, and will have a few demos. If anyone is interested in a BMI course, I could probably facilitate it so long as there are at least three candidates. I don't know if any PFI/E's will be there to run a PFI course. I can tell you for sure, though, that Nick will be minting EGI ratings to qualified and interested people. The Texas PFI's that I am sure will be there are Voodew, Ted, Jenn, and myself, and we have a whole range of sizes in Prodigy, Phantom, and Vampire demos. We can surely handle some FFC's for wannabes. Would be great for PF to qualify some more PFIs to help us though. BF Old Guys Rock!
black_rig 0 #55 May 4, 2007 I'll be there. I am definitively not the kind of dude who would trade WS Big Ways in Spaceland (particularly if organized by Voodoo) for base Peace Guillaume Talk is cheap.

ScottGray 0 #57 May 5, 2007 Both Chris Gray and I are considering going. Things that would encourage me to attend --- Tailgate and specialty aircraft. High speed passes. We also should do something about logging and recognizing record attempts (e.g. texas record) Focused instruction on advanced flocking and flying techniques. Lots of air conditioning Oh and big fluffy clouds ..... :)WSI-5 / PFI-51 / EGI-112 / S-Fly The Brothers Gray Wing Suit Academy Contact us for first flight and basic flocking courses at your DZ or boogie. www.thebrothersgray.com
voodew1 0 #58 May 6, 2007 Casa will be there high speed passes have never been a problem in the past Spaceland is airconditioned upstairs where the wingys hang out They will have specialty aircraft And Chuck Blue will be there to give advanced flying instruction along with myself, theo, and Jean for info go to the skyfestboogie.com website I am going to talk to J. about maybe doing some formation loads --- right now it looks like about 30ish planning on being there which means if we get some RW guys wanting to do formation loads we could split the planes and give those without multi plane formation stuff a taste of what it is like.........now this is not confirmed yet but I totally think it is possible The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
voodew1 0 #59 May 23, 2007 Its getting closer and it looks like the Casa might have been replaced with a Skyvan --- still a tailgate and probably a bit faster to altitude (and the Skyvan pilot will more than likely be an ex-Texas local Heath or Diego) Come out and join the flock!!!!!!!
