Wingsuit weekend - Sibson - 8-9th July

Ok people this is the big one! Skydive Sibson in the UK will be hosting a mass wing suit weekend on the 8th and 9th of July.

Jari K from Bird-man inc is coming over to organise and get his flock on alongside Sibson’s own fleet of BMI’s and BMCI.

Aircraft already confirmed for the weekend are the Dornier G92 and… a SKY VAN!! Yes, that’s right, tailgate fun!!

There will be Bird Man demo’s, first flight courses, coaching and load organising available all weekend.

If you don’t quite have the jump numbers to try a wingsuit for the first time, but really want to get into it, come on down! Jari will be bringing demo IMPACT suits with him, which we will be able to give you a first flight course in.

There will be a big BBQ and much drinking merriment on the Saturday night with plenty of excellent, on DZ, accommodation (now with new mattress’s!) to crash out in.

The plan is to work on skills and smaller formations on the Saturday, then put them together to build some nice big ways on the Sunday.

If you’re going to Germany for the record attempt, you absolutely can’t afford to miss this opportunity to flock the weekend before the big one!

Two open questions, will there be much happening on the friday, and where would I go on a train to get there?

I'll certainly be there on the Friday and yes there should be things going on. Also, rather nicely, Friday tickets are £16 to 13.5K!
The nearest station is Peterborough. See you there then

Just one thing, we dont have a bar any more, so its a bit of a case of bringing your own drinkies... there is beer available, but if you want much else, defo bring it. Tesco's is only up the road though, and i'm sure we can work out a couple of runs...

Well we had an excellent day yesterday. 10 way flock action out of the skyvan and coaching made up most of the jumping. Great DZ and accomodations and the beer isn't bad either Speaking of beer, we had one brave hairy individual volunteer to have a Birdman logo waxed out of his chest last night. If you remember the waxing scene from the 40 yr old virgin, last night was even better.I'll post some pictures as I am sure macca will later as apparently thats what Mates do for one another here
