voodew1 0 #2 July 21, 2006 If you want easy use and like to fly higher performance canopies the Prodigy is great - you can flock with it but it is not the easiest suit to fly in my opinion and doesn't have blazing forward speed If you want a full on higher performance wingsuit go with the Acro for all around flyin or the Phantom for flocking with high performance suits like the V1/2 or the S3/S3S/S6 The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
Zeemax 0 #4 July 21, 2006 You should also consider the Firebird. Its a great all round suit Try and demo both and see which you like Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
Pendragon 1 #5 July 21, 2006 If you haven't flown a wingsuit, learn first on a demo suit. Won't take too long if you're a good tracker and have some freefly experience. Then I'd go with a Phantom, and have the back-inlets installed. Easy to fly, quite forgiving; you'll be able to flock in it no problem, and it's actually got great performance if flown correctly (to the point that some flyers can just about keep up with Vampires being flown hard). Oh, and you can do some basic acrobatics in it for fun, when you're experienced enough and fancy it. Firebird is ok, but I found it a little slow. Don't get anything with ribs in if you're a low-timer (applies to Firebird and Phantom options) Acro is fun, but I feel a little less user-friendly for beginners.-- BASE #1182 Muff #3573 PFI #52; UK WSI #
