Waldschrat 0 #1 September 21, 2006 Whats the manufacturer/Typ/DOM of your suit? How many jumps have your suit? Type of jumps? (wingsuit base, skydive, Demosuit etc.) In what shape is your suit now? How fits she now? Do you think the suit is ready for the trash in the next time? Me: PF/V1/2005 95 Jumps 20 WS Base/75 skydives suit is like new, fits great (one repair by the manufacturer, because ripped armwing) Thanks in advance

moonglo 0 #3 September 21, 2006 Classic 1 from early production with lots of jumps on it (unknown by original owner, 40-ish of mine, 30+ by Hippydiver, 30+ by Luminous, and a few demos by others) is still in very good condition, except for some small line burns on the right arm wing from dumping my reserve on my back. I also have a custom GTi from 2004 with 200+ jumps on it that has seen better days, and is a bit tight on me now. It has patches where the leg was damaged jumping smoke, the leg zippers have been replaced (one side once and the other side 3 times!), there's a snag in the armwing stitching, and the lining/coating has mostly peeled out of the entire inside of the body. I doubt I could sell that suit without major repairs, but I intend to keep it for more smoke demos. The legwing is in amazingly good shape for the bad landings I did in it, a few with stuck leg zippers! My PF suits have held up way better- my 2005 Prodigy demos have between 20 and 40 jumps on each and are still like new, except for the one with the yellow patches from the guy that landed downwind on the taxi way (who immediately bought me a case of green bottles and offered to pay for the repairs or suit if need be All of these suits have only been used for skydiving AFAIK. mccordia 74 #4 September 21, 2006 Suits I'm most impressed with is some of the old classic 1's. With the body built like a tank out of a smooth material (not the balloon-zp stuff we see in most suits now). Some of those have into the high hundreds of skydives on them, and they still look like new..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 September 22, 2006 My most-worn suit is my very-early-production S3. It's got way over 500 flights on it and the only thing I have fucked up on it are the booties. I have blown the toes out of both of them several times. I blew out nearly every zipper on my old GTi (which saw at least four owners), but it's still flying too out in California. lurch 0 #6 September 22, 2006 Birdman GTI, '02. Bought brand new to my measurements. Still fits perfect... Wear status: All skydives. Maybe 375-400 jumps on it, somewhat shabby looking by now but still in the game... Toes a little frayed, color faded somewhat but no grass stains, big crudely patched rip in top right armwing from CASA bite, and one slightly torn wing tab. Zippers have never failed. Its kinda neat looking at it because when I look at it I see the story of how it got all shabby looking, and that story was one hell of a grand adventure. I'll be retiring it to student suit status when my S6 gets here but I'll NEVER sell it.Live and learn... or die, and teach by example.
SkymonkeyONE 4 #7 September 22, 2006 I should caveat my response by saying that my S3 is filthy! It's so dirty it can almost stand up! I should actually wash the thing before I sell it. Chuck
