Aerodynamik rig?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

Anyone heard of. or thought of new rig designs for WS flying? Something like the WSX or HYBRID baserigs, but for normal skydiving?
Most rigs seams to be short and thick, making turbulens behind the rig a problem. Special long rig for tracking and WS? Integrated WS and rig?

Anyone?

Do, or do not. There is no try.

The Teardrop has a new flat design hasn't it ?

They make the teardrop 'Viper' which they say is for speed skydiving. I think they did make some effort to get it quite thin and low profile, but mostly it was a new lateral design, but don't quote me on that - I might be talking bollocks;)
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

I jump the same size canopies as you do in a Mirage G4(didn't pay attention to your container). the container will not make that much difference....getting down to smaller canopies will....but if that means one leg shorter than the other why bother. That is my thinking for me. YMMV.

Kris.

Only Glide System 1 - out of South Africa - seem to care about integrating container and wingsuit ... a huge and complex problem.
