Macthe 0 #51 February 22, 2007 bidle is 9 feet long, I used an eagle form tony suits, not a big wing, maybe the throw was lazy, but not sloppy, it went straght up the normal path a pilot chute takes, no waffling, huh
moonglo 0 #52 February 22, 2007 Quotedo you think it was just a lazy throw, noting to do with wing position when closed, well longer bridle help like morpheus ofers 13feet bridle for base ws I'm sure it had everything to do with a lazy throw allowing the pc to hang in my burble and tie itself up like that. I was jumping a GTi and had collapsed my wings fully to pull but fumbled briefly, then tried going head-low to clear the pc in tow but it was already inside out. I think a longer bridle would have made the resulting reserve/pc wrap worse if anything. I've made over 300 wingsuit jumps with this pc since and have had no problems with it being only 9' in any type of suit.
SkymonkeyONE 4 #53 February 22, 2007 Lazy throws simply don't work with a wingsuit.
FeetFlyer 0 #54 February 22, 2007 I've lengthened the bridle to be more wingsuit-friendly but I don't remember how long it is now. And I fly a Birdman S3. <>
