Tornolf 0 #26 April 5, 2007 Hell if I know. I rarely skydive and only BASE jumps are from a 1500' exit. About 30 of the BASE jumps are on a Prodigy with around 1500ft horizontal and 2 on a V2. I was getting the same horizontal with the V2 but they were my 2nd and 3rd jumps on the suit, so I had no idea how to fly it properly. I plan on skydiving more this season to work on my L/D but numbers are boring.A waddling elephant seal is the cutest thing in the entire world. -TJ
OmarPR 0 #27 April 5, 2007 I'm glad to see that there are others that feel my pain . This is one of the many, many reasons why I rarely do "flocks" any more. I personally am not interested is GR, but what kind of wingsuit do you fly? Tornolf 0 #28 April 5, 2007 Prodigy, V2, Classic (S.U.I.T.!!), GTi, or Skyflyer 1. Depends if I'm loaning any of my suits out or not. If I want to "work" then I jump the V2, otherwise I like jumping the Prodigy and Skyflyer 1. edit: and the Classic still kicks ass. It flies forEVERA waddling elephant seal is the cutest thing in the entire world. -TJ

To land he installed flaps on his Wingsuit and sets them to 30° ;-)For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. sdctlc 0 #31 April 6, 2007 I lost weight for health puropses, i.e. wanted to be in better shape. The driving force was not primarly wingsuiting but it sure helped and was used to motovate me in my mind. I feel much better and my wingsuiting has a much larger envelope now then before. I chose the "old fashioned way", get a better body not a bigger suit Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
mccordia 74 #32 April 6, 2007 Quote I chose the "old fashioned way", get a better body not a bigger suit Angelic What weird thinking made you do that? Thats like saying people need to do more then 2 jumps and learn to actually fly that before buying the biggest suit around? Silly peopleJC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
