freeatlast 0 #1 April 12, 2007 Ok so post flock and dock 3.0 and i'm getting withdrawal symptoms, my feathers are getting scratchy and i might be getting a case of 'Bird Flu' ... So my question to everyone that jumps in the UK or Europe is where to Flock? I am aware of the AN Boogie and i live quite close to liverpool / manchester airport and can fly quite cheaply within europe from there ... So I'm looking for the place which has a great atmosphere and planes for the birdies and the jumps are cheap and the locals friendly ... I've just got my hands on a new V2 and i'm waiting for my phantom to be delivered ... Also does anyone jump in the Czech Republic ??? I'm living over there part time and could do with stretching my wings when i'm over ... Thanks .... James
Zeemax 0 #2 April 12, 2007 Before Jarno chimes in with 'come to europe', in the UK, there's probably at least on wingsuit pilot now at almost every DZ. If you're looking for the most though, at Skydive Sibson in Peterborough we have biggest regular flock with all the UK members of the Bird Man Factory team based here. Theres coaching, FFC's, L/O etc always available, which if you're interested in, shoot me a PM and i'll make sure that one of us is available for you. Failing that, just come on down and join the flock We will shortly have a Let 410 as our permenent a/c with the skyvan making several regular appearances over the summer. If you can't make it over to Sibson, Top Gun (the Bird Man Factory Team) will be touring the country soon, details can soon be found on our website www.birdmantopgun.com Hope that helps Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies

Zeemax 0 #11 April 12, 2007 Flying with clogs allows you to increase the laminar airflow over the surface of the wings thus creating a much higher glide ratio. Its hard at first, but as more people realise the benefits, i think you'll see a lot more serious wingsuit pilots flying in clogs. Also, due to their sturdy construction, they make an ideal location to mount a GPS antanae too. The mere possibility of two consecutive Skyvan weekends in gorgeous weather has me positively horny. Unfortunately the evil trinity of work, a housemate's 21st birthday and the fact that Headcorn is a long, long way from Devon when you don't have a car might just put the mockers on that ideaHave fun.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
