KrisFlyZ 0 #4 April 22, 2007 Nice to see more designs and more people making wingsuits. Rigid and semi rigid wings have been done before. The other designs have one important difference, Most of the wing area is concentrated around the center of gravity. What is the idea behind having thin and long wings? Kris. Skyjester 0 #6 April 23, 2007 Yes, inspired by a glider. Unfortunately it doesn´t look as cool as a jet fighter. The first Jester suit was completely different. The main wingarea was located at the hips (center of gravity) The larger wingspan with "solids" needs much less muscle power than the previous shape Any explanations ? ? don´t pester the jester . . or better: WHY SO SERIOUS ? ? www.pralle-zeiten.de

KrisFlyZ 0 #8 April 23, 2007 Quote hmmm...gliders have long, thin wings... Dude...that is exactly my point . Gliders can have a really large wingspan and can make use of long thin wings. We cannot afford to give up area to shape our wings like those used on gliders. There is also balance and different positions for center of lift and center of gravity....in this design. Kris.
