fmmobley 0 #1 May 30, 2007 I am a newbie with a new (used) GTI and only 13 wingsuit jumps. I want to jump with other wingsuits. Will there be other wingsuits at the boogie at Raeford in June?... Marion
SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 May 30, 2007 There will be a ton of wingsuiters at the Raeford boogie in June. We are going to have all the demos that we brought with us to Dublin there, Marion. Those, plus all that Scott Campos has if you want to try other stuff. I look forward to seeing you again! Chuck
LouDiamond 1 #3 May 30, 2007 Quote Will there be other wingsuits at the boogie at Raeford in June? You betcha and I'll be Load Organizing flocks the whole weekend. I look forward to flying with you.Everyone else, don't forget to send in your films no later than the 15th of June, it is a film festival after all. You don't have to be present to submit a film and win, so you have no excuse not to send your film in. The prizes are substantial for all categories so here is your chance to show your cool flights, mad editing skills and get some cool swag all from the comfort of your home. McDuck 0 #7 May 31, 2007 Quote What have you replaced it with, Kevin? With not flying it. I've put off using it until the conditions are right...you know, like all the planets are aligned and such. I'll try to get in a few flights before the boogie so that I won't be completely out of my element if I get the chance to fly it at the event. I've been lazy/scared. SkymonkeyONE 4 #16 June 10, 2007 I have been here since Thursday morning and have dropped off the Sky Squared entry into the film festival. Actually, we have played the movie twice already to good reviews. I have also been on a good number of flights with some old friends out of the PAC. Tony G and I went up and busted one this morning and got sucked into a full minute of solid cloud before popping out the bottom and realizing we had flown WAY into Fort Bragg. Talk about turning and burning! I couldn't believe we both got all the way back and had enough altitude to hook it! The wash job my wingsuit got in that raincloud really took the stink out; it WAS a bit gamey. Chuck
LouDiamond 1 #17 June 10, 2007 Quote Quote Excellent, we will definately not be sucking. But I like sucking... Thats because you're from Clog-landia, where not only do you wear funny shoes and have weird haircuts ,there is also a known history of your countrymen sticking their finger in the Dyke. At any rate, I am sure Macca is glad to hear you state that."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
