mccordia 74 #28 June 10, 2007 QuoteWe, that means my pale Oliver and me. We own both 2 suits mid-range/HP, but we have not so much flocking experience.. The main goal of our weekend wil be to get everyone up to speed on formation flying. We're not aiming at records or big formation shows. We want to have everyone fly, and hopefully learn with and from eachother, and help everyone raise their skill-level a bit... No worries..we're not there to perform to some record..we're there to all learn new things and have LOADS and LOADS of fun!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? mccordia 74 #32 June 12, 2007 We where thinking of meeting at schaffen around 8:30 on saterday (though earlyer would be handy) so before 9, we can have everyone go through registration (just paperwork/DZ registration, doesnt cost anything) and get your gear ready. And then around (but hopefully before) 9-ish, do a big briefing about safety and the do's and donts, and then start deviding the people into smaller groups and start briefing jumps! Around 9:30 we hope to put the first load up, and from that point on, have the whole circus jump to the max for the whole day, each group with their own 'leader' for briefing/debriefing and manifesting..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? wildchild 0 #36 June 14, 2007 Unfortunately I'm off the list (Tamsyn). My broken leg put paid to that....but I see the doc tomorrow and hopefully I'll have that S6 flying next weekend! So, the Germany expedition is off for me . However, I'm sure that the rest of the SA crowd will more than make up for my absence with their rowdy behaviour. freeatlast 0 #37 June 19, 2007 Oh F*ck it ... I'm in ... I knew that i wanted to get my new phantom out .... And my liver hasn't had a kicking in days now .... What's the best place to fly into for the boogie ??? - Amsterdam / Rotterdam? Also I'm booked for the cochstedt boogie as well so should i book my return flight from germany or amsterdam ??? Anyone have any space in their car??? God help me ....
mccordia 74 #38 June 19, 2007 Depends..if you're coming a day early...rotterdam would proably be easyest (and cheepest). You're more then welcome to spend the night here at my place. Or you could also opt to come to Belgium straight away and fly to brussels or antwerp. Or take the boat to Duinkerke or Hoek van Holland, and drive to Belgium and germany from there? But there's such a big group driving to germany from belgium...one extra spot in a car shouldnt be too hard to find! I thinkk you'd best send JohanW an email! If I recall corectly, he had one spare slut available!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

JohanW 0 #40 June 19, 2007 I have honestly, positively no idea what Jarno is on about. A spare slut would seem to imply I have a primary one. Without attaching any moral judgement, I can affirmatively deny there is any such thing. Person. Object. Thingy. Damn I'm straight. Johan. I am. I think. mccordia 74 #44 June 23, 2007 Almost! For those that are hanging around Holland/Belgium/Germany after the boogie. Juli 14th, early in the morning, we'a friend of mine is organising a big ballonjump. Altitude wil be around 6000/7000 ft, so ideal hight for a cool jump in your birdsuit of choice combined with some flocking action if you want... There's already 2 or 3 birds on the list. If you want to jump as well, contact me!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
