SkyDivinRyan 0 #1 July 5, 2007 Which suit would be better for a noob and how many jumps suggested since the tracer is a tracking suit technicaly speaking 100 jumps would do it no?
dragon2 2 #2 July 5, 2007 Did you do a search on both? My personal advice for most would be to buy birdman pantz if you GOT to have a tracking suit of some kind, because you can use it later for other things too. The tracer IMO would be ok for someone wanting to do BASE but is an expensive suit/toy for someone wanting to get into skydiving wingusiting later, I'd save my money and just go JUMP for those 200-300 jumps and then go fly a real wingsuit. ciel bleu, Saskia
stratman05 0 #3 July 5, 2007 yup...jumped the access and it was wierd...nothing like a real wingsuit. Make yourself a tracking suit. Go over to the base forum and check them out there. I had a ton of jumps in mine before I did my first wingsuit jump, and was getting performance of a first flight student (or better) in the tracking suit. All from $10 worth of cloths from Old Navy (and string...string is important).

Agree with your suggestion about making the tracking suit. Kris.
stratman05 0 #5 July 5, 2007 Kris is correct. Look at the pictures from the base jumpers and how the string is used to tighten the fabric and make the surface area larger.
frogout 0 #6 July 7, 2007 Forget about jump numbers....start thinking ability..and currency... I've done about 100 or so jumps on an Access, in my opinion they are a fantastic beginer/intermediate wingsuit, they do outperform GTI's, are robust and are super safe.
