WatchYourStep 0 #2 July 24, 2007 Nice video. I noticed on the opening filmed at the end that the flyer doesn't collapse the leg wing, why is that? I'm a new flyer so I'm only inquiring not saying it was bad. Thanks "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."

Thanks There are many ways to pull... full flight, sink out, stall, etc. What you choose will depend on how high you are (BASE?), what type of canopy you fly, how much weight is on your head, and even plain old personal preference. The most basic (failsafe) for new pilots in skydiving environment is to collapse all wings before your intended deploy altitude (best to collapse legs first), hold the collapsed position for a second or two ("sink out") and then dump symmetrically. Over time you'll probably modify that to your own needs.www.WingsuitPhotos.com
outrager 6 #4 July 24, 2007 QuoteNice video. I noticed on the opening filmed at the end that the flyer doesn't collapse the leg wing, why is that? In BASE environment a standard practice is to pull in full flight. You get a clean deployment and do not loose any altitude. This method may not work very well with standard skydiving gear. bsbd! Yuri. I tried it a few times with a classic2 and a spectre.... Got linetwists (my container has fairly high corners) and bruises on my shoulders, but was open QUICK Might work better with a container with open corners and packed grommet to bottom or top ciel bleu, Saskia

Costyn 1 #7 July 25, 2007 QuoteThis method may not work very well with standard skydiving gear. I always pull from full flight with my skydiving gear. Works perfectly. O and yes, very fucking cool video. Wonder when Soul Flyers 3 is gonna come out.Costyn van Dongen - http://www.flylikebrick.com/ - World Wide Wingsuit News
