unclecharlie95 3 #1 September 24, 2007 First off: GRAZIE Marco, Claudio, Francesca, Chiller and everyone at Skydive Tortuga for organizing the wingsuit event! Marco and the team put in a huge amount of preparation and worked tirelessly through the event to make it a success. The competition was divided in to 3 events; distance, time and speed, measured using GPS and Paralog software. There were some problems with the GPS data during the event, leading to the distance segment of the competition being decided by "head to head" races, with ground judging. Congratulations to the winners: Italian National Competition: 1st: Giovanni (V2) 2nd: David (S-Fly) 3rd: Roberto (V1) International Competition: 1st: Robert (V2) 2nd: Tristan (SM1) 3rd: James (Phantom) The International competition was a tight run race with Tristan and Robert posting very similar scores for the time and speed events. The final ranking being decided by the "head to head" race. I don't have the exact numbers for the Time and Speed events but I'm sure Marco will post the complete results once he has chance to sleep and recover from a loooong weekend! After the awards ceremony we had a Formula One style champagne celebration When is the next one??? ps. yes there was a reason i jumped the Phantom, pm me if you want to know.BASEstore.it

Tony-tonysuits 0 #8 September 26, 2007 actually I think Olav won the overall. He won his race and was second to Tristan in Time, when the meet was over and I wondered with him why he only came 5th he told me he didn't do the Speed round, that they gave him his speed score from a regular time and distance jump, Hmmmm sorry to bitch but .......................Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
Nidez 0 #9 September 26, 2007 Hi Tony, it's Marco here. Olav simply didnt want to jump anymore because of been tired... he asked me pls take my speed from another jump and i did it. He won his race but he is not second to Tristan in Time, remember that you were free to jump and perform better result in any time and so Robert and James did. His time has become the 4th one sunday. he didnt wanted to jump again. thats how he becomes 5th. please dont just fuck up everything... you remember ? you was the one that told me that it's so easy to complain during a competition.. this was the first one. organized by regular Joe, not by someone very expert or very famous. take as it was. your suit is extremely good ! flys extremely easy ! and perform very very well. but perseverance in trying to get a better result is always the best way to get it !Marco "Pazzo" Pistolesi pistolesi.marco(at)gmail.com

sdctlc 0 #11 September 26, 2007 [announcer Howard Cossell voice] That ladies and gentelmen, that was the sound of the Gauntlet glove getting tossed squarley down on the ground at Tony's feet... The brash young italian is really stepping up to the plate on this. I have not seen this level of nerve in years, what a performance [/announcer Howard Cossell voice] "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
