Butters 0 #1 November 8, 2007 I think I have a problem ... when I'm asleep I can't stop dreaming about wingsuits and when I'm awake I can't stop thinking about wingsuits. Please tell me this goes away after getting to fly a wingsuit, otherwise I'm going to go crazy. PS: I've read all of the Phoenix-Fly Manuals, "Birdmen, Batmen, and Skyflyers", and "Skyflying, Wingsuits in Motion" and was wondering if anyone has any other recommendations."That looks dangerous." monkycndo 0 #4 November 8, 2007 Sorry dude. Once you get nylon in your veins, there's no going back. Chevrons, vees, diamonds, stacks, multiway docks, penetrated vaginas,...and maybe even a solo every once in a while. Mainline it baby. I've heard a rumor that this guy is about to publish an updated version of his book.50 donations so far. Give it a try. I will probably be doing a lot of solos since there are very few individuals flying wingsuits here ... I don't really care, I just want to fly. pilotdave 0 #7 November 8, 2007 Wingsuits suck. They're boring. Overpriced, poor quality, worthless. Skydiving is way more fun without them. They look funny too. I'd never use it if I bought one. Total waste of money. I'd have to carry it around in my gear bag all the time even though it would never come out. I'm gonna keep telling myself all that all winter so I don't do something stupid like order one. I've managed to go about 5 years now since my first wingsuit jump without buying one. Stupid Tony Suits ALMOST suckered me into buying one of their awesome, wonderful suits. I even got all measured up. But my willpower is STRONG. I will hold out! I hate wingsuits. I hate wingsuits... breath. Repeat. I hate wingsuits! Must....not....get....addicted.... Dave

bdrake529 0 #9 November 8, 2007 Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Tracking is great prep for wingsuits, but you should also develop some solid RW skills since flocking isn't just about flying fast and a lot of group RW skills translate.Brian Drake

The111 1 #17 November 8, 2007 I was referring to the part where you are broadcasting globally for an instructor (representing a world class DZ) to knowingly go against USPA recommendations for you. I'm not trying to be rude, but it did strike me as incredibly ironic. Bending the rules is best done on the "DL"... or not at all.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Yes, I did mention that I want to start early. However, I am looking for a wingsuit instructor at Skydive Arizona because I am planning a trip to Skydive Arizona and would like to be able to work with a wingsuit instructor on tracking jumps (which was recommended to me). Nothing wrong with that is there? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Tracking suits are a blast, PF makes a awesome one and, if you can get a hold of it, the Airintruder (sp?) tracksuit will rock your socks off. This isn't flying, its falling with style.
